I Have A Friend Who Is Going Through A Hard Time At Present In Her Relationship. And, For Anyone Out There Who's In A Similar Situation.. 35 Things A Girl Should Know:

1. If a guy or a boy wants you, nothing can keep him away. If he doesn't want you, nothing can make him stay. 

2. Stop making excuses for him and his behavior. 

3. If you have ANY doubt in your mind about a his character, forget him. 

4. Always trust your intuition and put yourself and your happiness first. 

5. Stop trying to change yourself for a relationship.

6. Never live your life for a guy before you find what makes you truly happy.

7. If a relationship ends because the guy was not treating you as you deserve, then hell no, you can't "be friends." Friends don't mistreat friends.

8. Don't stay because you think "it will get better." You'll be mad at yourself a year later for when nothing changes.

9. Never let a him know everything. He will use it against you later. 

10. You cannot change someone's behavior. Change comes from within. 

11. Don't EVER make him feel he is more important than you are...even if he is more intelligent.

12. There's only 1 'reason' a guy will dump you; he doesn't want you. 

13. Maintain boundaries in how a guy treats you. If something bothers you, speak up. 

14. Never borrow someone else's guy.

15. Know when to cut the cord, don't be strung along.

16. Don't fall for the "I'm confused role". Remove yourself from the situation to let him figure things out (but don't wait for him, move on).

17. If you want to have a clue as to how he will treat you, watch how he treats his female friends or sister.

18. Do not make him into a God. He is a guy and nothing more, nothing less

24 . A guy will only treat you the way you ALLOW him to treat you. 

25. If you don't love yourself, you can't love anyone else. 

26. You need time to heal between relationships. Baggage isn't cute. Deal with your issues before start a new relationship.

27. You should never look for someone to COMPLETE you. A relationship consists of two WHOLE individuals. Look for someone complimentary, not supplementary. 

28. NEVER give more in a relationship than what you are getting out of it. 

29. When his actions and words don't match, believe the actions. 

30. Don't fall for the "I'm not the loving type". When he loves you, there is nothing in this world, within reason, that he wouldn't do for you.

31. Make him miss you sometimes. 

32. When it's time to let go; let go. 

33. Never believe a guy that tells you he want to be with you, while he's with someone else. 

34. Don't be a guy's doormat, make him open the door for you.
